Chaotic Life is ALWAYS open to guest contributions
Because I’m focusing on building a community, I work very hard to find and include other voices on this blog. Motherhood is both a unique and universal experience all at once. I’m not going to be able to write the kind of posts that will resonate with every single one of my readers. Because of this, I WANT your help.
I try to make it easy for everybody to join in by assigning themes to each month. Please take a look at these to see if anything strikes your fancy.

Becoming a Guest Contributor
If you want to be a guest contributor for Chaotic Life, you must send your entire draft to Lauren C. Moye at laurencmoye(at)chaoticlifeoflauren.com. Please include which theme you are interested in submitting to in the body of your email.
You can join the Chaotic Life Contributor-only Mailing List using the opt-in below. (This is a separate email list from my regular list.)
Joining this list keeps you in the know about all theme announcement and writing needs that I have at Chaotic Life. In addition, you’ll receive reminders so that you won’t forget a post opportunity that you wanted to join in with. I have it set up where you’ll only get 1-2 emails a month UNLESS you opt-in to a specific theme.
Because of this, it’s probably best to join the list and send me an email as well. I look forward to working with you!
Themes Closing Soon
A Holy Life – Due 07/05/17
Holy. Set apart.
As Christian Moms, we’re called to live a different kind of life. This month will focus on characteristics of a Holy Life as well as how to actually live this kind of life.
Send me your best ideas for service projects (especially if children can be included in the project!), testimonies from stepping outside of your comfort zone in faith, how to speak gracefully, and so forth. The ideas for this theme are almost unlimited and you are all very brilliant writers. You’ll be fine.
If you’re interested in this theme, please send me a rough draft no later than July 5. Again, my email is laurencmoye(at)chaoticlifeoflauren.com.
Cooking Up Faith – Due 08/05/17
Are you a great cook? If your life was a meal, is faith the entree, the side dish, or that little salad that nobody touches? Join us this month for a food (and faith!) themed month.
Send me your best kitchen tips, meal planning tips, and time-saving tips to help Busy Christian Moms manage life. Or you can write a food-based devotional (bonus points for object lessons!).
If you’re interested in this theme, please send me a rough draft no later than August 5. My email is laurencmoye(at)chaoticlifeoflauren.com.
True Tales of Motherhood – Due 09/05/17
Has your child done something absolutely horrifying? Or so outrageous that it left you in giggles? I really want to read these stories, complete with the cheesy moral of the story conclusion (you know, to make it educational for our readers). Alternatively, you can share a heartfelt essay on how motherhood has taught you serious lessons.
I’ll share a couple of devotionals on some little-known mothers in the Bible, as well as some fun little ideas I’ve had marinating but have been unable to share.
A Note About December
It’s always been my dream to publish a free short story annually as a thank you gift to all the people (okay, mainly family) who have supported me. So while there will be some room for guest posts, most of the month will be set aside for short story parts. You know, because I have a habit of almost doubling my word goal once I start writing.
